Smooth-Touch Cataract Surgery is the latest, gentlest and safest technique for removing cataracts. I have personally developed this method to promote the rapid recovery of vision. I have been performing cataract surgery for twenty years and for the past ten years I have dedicated myself exclusively to advanced surgical eye care. My personal success rate is excellent, with well over 98% of my patients achieving at least 20/40 or better eye chart acuity. The procedure usually takes less than twenty minutes. It can be done either under topical anesthesia (just eye drops) or a small local block around the eye. Patients can resume most of their normal activities within a few days of surgery.
